Aker Offshore Partner Ltd, an Aker Solutions company has decided to swear loyalty to the citizens of Aberdeen by increasing its activities in the area. In order to facilitate the increase in its operations, Aker Offshore Partner Ltd has decided to lease prime office space measuring 32000 Sq ft in the Freedom House on Old Ford Road for its new office location.

Given the worldwide recession most companies are right now deferring from investing in and committing to new properties, but Aker Offshore Partner Ltd has decided otherwise considering its business’ future direction. Roy Buchan, the Managing Director of Aker Offshore Partner Ltd says that this is largely because of its present enthusiasm on the work opportunity front and also due to the anticipated growth in its customer base. He also added that this office relocation will benefit the company as it will be able to serve its customers better. He added further, that this shift in premises will most benefit people from South and Central Aberdeen as the new open planned shared offices will be on the North Esplanade West Front overlooking the River Dee, accessible to almost all of Aberdeen – for available office space or desk space refer to Desk Space Genie.

The new Grade A property is large enough to fit in more than 300 permanent staff and also a few temporary employees who are currently working from different locations within Aberdeen. This move is expected to take place in September 2009 before which some 50 employees will oversee the renovation and construction work required to make the office space ready for occupancy.
